There’s not much on the planet that can compete with a hug from one of my kids. Tonight, as I was reading Linnea and Elias some stories before putting them in bed, Elias melted into my arm and wrapped his arm around my neck. He held the hug a little longer than normal.
I didn’t want to go anywhere else.
Then, when I laid him into his bed, he grabbed on and didn’t want to let go. I know that eventually, that’s going to go away - that my kids won't want to hug me as they do now, but for now, I’m going to soak up those moments.
"By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
- John 13:35
